Platform architecture
DarDev Platform
Company platform I built as CTO — Workspace identity, cloud dev environments, DevOps tooling, and 2026 product launches across an 8-person engineering team.
Overview
I co-founded DarDev Solutions in 2023 and serve as CTO. The company builds SaaS products and delivers client engagements from Tunis. This page covers the internal platform and product architecture — separate from the DarDev marketing site at dardev.net.
The challenge
A small engineering organization needs enterprise-grade platform discipline — unified identity, developer environments, observability, and delivery standards — without enterprise headcount. In 2026 we shipped two new products while maintaining client delivery and internal operations.
Architecture
DarDev Workspace is the company identity and operations hub. DarDevLab provides cloud development environments. DevOps and monitoring wrap production workloads. A CRM and mail stack handles licensing, ops workflows, and product manifests.
Products & clients
- 20 — multi-tenant school management SaaS, launched 2026
- Hesabi — Tunisia ERP with TTN e-invoicing (product lead: Khaled Ben Abderrahmen)
- Netverse — shipped events and LMS SSO product
- CleanCH — European client deployment (cleanch.ch)
Workspace platform
- Keycloak and LDAP — single sign-on for engineering and operations
- HashiCorp Vault — secrets management
- OpenProject — delivery tracking
- Matrix and BigBlueButton — team collaboration
- DevOps and monitoring for product and client workloads

Key decisions
Platform before features
Workspace identity, secrets, and project tooling landed before scaling product lines — small teams fail when every product reinvents auth and operations.
Clear product ownership
I own technical strategy and platform architecture. Domain product leads own their product lines — Hesabi ERP is led by Khaled Ben Abderrahmen.
My role
- CTO — technical strategy, architecture, delivery standards, cloud operations
- Workspace IDP design — Keycloak, LDAP, Vault
- Engineering leadership across product and client delivery
- Architecture oversight for 20 and platform integration for Hesabi
